T4MIH is a package of interventions to reduce maternal and infant mortality in 25 rural districts in Ghana

Lack of access to maternal and infant health information, minimal decision-making support tools, socio-cultural norms and practices, teenage pregnancies, and reliance on paper data systems are major drivers of maternal and infant mortality in rural communities in Ghana. We will scale-up, strengthen, and evaluate an effective multi-component intervention titled "Technology for Maternal and Infant Health" (T4MIH) in five regions in Ghana. T4MIH is a package of four educational and empowerment interventions that leverages data and technology as strategies for decreasing delays in seeking and receiving skilled healthcare, enabling health-related decision-making and increasing maternal and infant health knowledge among women and adolescent girls, as well as their social networks. T4MIH aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality in 25 rural districts with religious minorities, cultural barriers and gender disparities. To learn more about the T4MIH project, visit Our Approach.
